Hooray!  Josie turned one at the end of March – perfect time to put  my cupcake punch to use.

  • For the border, I simply punched the cupcake at 1″ increments into a 1 1/4″ strip of pink cardstock.
  • I then mounted my cupcake strip onto a strip of green cardstock.
  • I took a scrap of green cardstock and punched another cupcake – then using a 1 1/4″ circle punch, punched it out and layered it on top of some larger circle punches (1 1/2″, 1 3/4″, scalloped 2″).
  • I wanted to ground my title a bit so I cut a 6″ circle using the Shape Mate circle cutter and set my title on it.

While I had my cupcake punch out I used up some of my scraps and made a few birthday cards to have on hand.
