Thanks for stopping by this week to take a peek at the October Afternoon feature – it’s sure been fun creating with Woodland Park!

Here are a couple more cards as we finish up this week’s feature:

“BEAUTIFUL” — Featuring the Tonic Studios MultiDetail Butterfly Punch

For this card, I angled the butterfly punch a bit before punching the butterfly from the front cream cardstock piece.  Rather than using the detailed butterflies I punched out, I used the negative images left in the cream cardstock and matted over this simple pattern.

October Afternoon – Woodland Park Collection – “huckleberry hill” paper, printed chip shapes, and flower sack.

Other – cream cardstock, mini blue adhesive pearls

“HUGS” — Featuring the Tonic Studios Border System, Sewing Holes Punch, & Doily Edger Punch

Tip – for the pattern strips, I adhered them to a scrap of cardstock along the top edge — then they stayed in place as I punched the scalloped edge.

This sewing holes punch is one of the first Tonic punches I used and it’s still one I reach for ALL THE TIME!

combine the ShapeMate ovals with the ShapeMate wavy borders to create some classy Easter eggs

I combined the ShapeMate ovals with the ShapeMate wavy borders to make these Easter egg embellishments. I chalked the edges then added some rhinestones and flowers for a little extra dimension and detail.

these funky flower petals were created using the smallest ShapeMate oval and the stem was made using the ShapeMate wavy borders

This layout is not my usual design style, but it turned out to be one of my favorites. I designed the funky flower using the smallest ShapeMate oval for petals and the wavy border to make a stem.

create this photo collage by adhereing photos in a row and then using the ShapeMate wave borders to trim the tops and bottoms

Create a photo collage by adhering photos in a row and then using the ShapeMate wavy borders to trim off the top and bottom edges.

make a quick spring card using the sewing holes and butterfly border punches

Make a quick spring or mother's day card using the sewing holes and butterfly border punches. I placed coordinating colored circles behind the butterfly punch-outs so they would blend with the patterns I chose.
