A sweet and simple card set, perfect for so many upcoming Spring occasions!  This card set features the Tonic Border System, Lace Edger Punch, and Flower Multi-Detail Lever Punch, and the Ticket/Tag Duo Punch.

How to:

Card One:

  • cut green cardstock – 4 1/4 X 11 – using the Border System and Lace Edger Punch, punch off one edge as shown – fold in half
  • cut card front to 4 1/4 X 5 1/2 – using the Border System and Lace Edger Punch, punch of the bottom edge and attach as shown
  • cut a strip of green cardstock for the “Happy Day!” sentiment and add to the front of the card
  • punch a 2″ scalloped circle from yellow cardstock and a 1 3/4″ circle from green cardstock
  • punch a flower using the Flower Multi-Detail Punch – layer onto circle, then scalloped circle and attach to the card front
  • tie a piece of string through the button and add to the center of the flower

Card Two:

  • cut orange cardstock – 4 1/4 X 11 – using the Border System and Lace Edger Punch, punch off one edge as shown – fold in half
  • cut card front to 4 1/4 X 5 1/2 – using the Border System and Lace Edger Punch, punch of the bottom edge and attach as shown
  • cut a strip of orange pattern and punch the right edge with the Lace Edger Punch – add to front of card lining up with the border
  • punch a 2″ scalloped circle from orange cardstock and a 1 3/4″ circle from green pattern
  • punch a flower using the Flower Multi-Detail Punch – layer onto circle, then scalloped circle and attach to the card front
  • add “hello sunshine” sentiment

Card Three:

  • cut blue cardstock – 4 1/4 X 11 – using the Border System and Lace Edger Punch, punch off one edge as shown – fold in half
  • cut red to 4 1/4 X 5 1/2 – using the Border System and Lace Edger Punch, punch of the bottom edge and attach as shown
  • cut card front to 4 1/4 X 5 1/4 – using the Border System and Lace Edger Punch, punch of the bottom edge and attach as shown
  • cut a strip of red dot pattern and blue cardstock – add to the front of the card
  • cut a 2″ square from pattern paper (with flower design) – punch all four corners using the Ticket Punch
  • cut a 2 1/4″ square from red cardstock – punch all four corners using the Ticket Punch
  • punch a flower using the Flower Multi-Detail Punch – layer onto flower pattern inside square
  • tie a piece of string through the button and add to the center of the flower
  • add “hugs” sentiment

Spring if finally peaking through the piles of snow and I’m delighted to share a cheery spring project with you! My 3-D butterfly frame features the Tonic Studios Butterfly Multi-Detail punch.

Other products featured – My Mind’s Eye – Stella and Rose Hattie papers & decorative brads, SRM Press We’ve Got Your Sticker – “Hello”, Basic Grey Opaline adhesive pearls, and Bazzill 1.5″ Candle Primula Flowers.

How to:

  • frame – inner frame is 9″ X 9″
  • background pattern – 9 3/4″ X 9 3/4″ (enough to cover the inside of your frame)
  • butterflies – punch 6 from assorted patterns
  • scalloped circles – 2 1/2″ – 10 from assorted patterns (cut one into a 3/4″ strip)
  • circles – 2″ – 6 from assorted patterns
  • 1/2″ X 3″ strip for “hello sunshine” sticker sentiment
  • assemble as shown – for 3D butterflies, only add adhesive to the center and bend the wings upward
  • add sticker sentiment to 3/4″ strip – add to project using foam dots
  • add pearls, flowers, and brads (tip: use your Tonic Tim Holtz Craft Pick to make adding brads a breeze)
